For refining texture and pores while leaving expressions untouched.
Unlike ordinary Botox, which goes into muscle, a diluted solution is placed in tiny amounts at many points in the shallow skin. It acts on the glands that produce oil and the muscles that raise hair, so oil drops, pores tighten, and texture smooths. It does not paralyze muscle, so expressions are barely affected. Even coverage across the whole face is the point.
One session lasts three to four months. The drop in oil and the tightening of pores are felt first, with smoother texture following a little later. Because a diluted dose goes into a shallow layer, the effect is gentler than botulinum placed in muscle, and repeating keeps the settled state going.
