It is done in three to four sessions at three to four week intervals. The area is thin, so it is built up across sessions rather than placed heavily at once.

From around the second session the under-eye looks less thin, and over four to eight weeks the show-through of pigment and the fine lines both ease. As the skin thickens, vessels beneath show less and the darkness improves along with it. Unlike treatments that fill at once, it appears gradually.

Under-eye filler fills the hollow and removes the shadow at once. Rejuran Eye thickens the thinned skin itself and reduces vessel show-through, so it suits cases where thinness, not hollowness, is the cause. The two often occur together and are sometimes approached separately.
