One session lasts nine to twelve months, varying by product. The nose has thin skin over a narrow space, so the filler is under constant pressure, and it lasts less long than at other sites. Wearing glasses often adds to that pressure and can shorten it further.

Downtime is mild at one to three days, with swelling for a few days. Avoid pressing or blowing the nose hard for a week so the placed shape can settle. Glasses press on the bridge and can alter the shape, so adjust wear for a few days, and avoid sleeping face-down for a while.

Vessels converge at the nose, which makes it a risky site if filler goes in wrongly. Blocking a vessel cuts off blood flow and can cause problems in the skin or the eye, so the depth and amount are chosen with particular care. If your vision blurs or the pain is severe, contact the clinic immediately.
