Suits filling and supporting hollows rather than pulling tissue.
Ordinary lifting threads have barbs, but this one is coiled like a spring with no barbs. It props up collapsed tissue like a column so hollow areas gain volume, and rather than pulling hard in one direction it wraps tissue evenly for support. It is used on hollows such as the nasolabial fold and forehead, and on the diagonal cheek line.
One session lasts twelve to eighteen months. Volume appears the moment it goes in and the final shape settles over four to six weeks, which is how long the surrounding tissue takes to adapt around the spring supporting it while collagen forms. Collagen remains after the thread dissolves.
